Picking A Banquet Venue

To complete your wedding day celebrations with a ‘big bang’, hosting a banquet for family and friends is the norm in Malaysia. Here are some tips for choosing the perfect venue :

  • Begin by short listing 3 possible venues.
  • Call and make appointments to view the venues.
  • Request for wedding banquet packages, including menus and pricing.
  • Bring along a camera. Take photos of the entrance, the foyer and the ballroom.
  • For a better overall view, ask for the actual floor plan. This will help you with planning the layout and placement of tables.
  • Place a deposit with the site only if you are satisfied with the venue, menu and cost.

Although this may seem like a fair amount of work, it gives you a good perspective of the venue.
