Portraits
captured during the wedding day are often reflective
of the couple's emotions as they embark on a new
chapter of life. Some couples actually prefer
these impromptu and more casual shots as compared
to having to go through a pre-wedding portrait
shoot, be it in a studio or at an outdoor location.

To
achieve a balance between photojournalistic, candid
images and portraits during your wedding day,
be sure to brief your photographers beforehand.
Provide them a list of required posed shots, especially
those of you as a couple, as well as with the
rest of the bridal party, immediate family, relatives
and close friends. It would also be a good idea
to have someone, perhaps a relative or friend,
cross check this list with the photographers on
that day itself.

Tip
: Keep a look out for your photographers from
time to time during your wedding day. A purposeful
glance in their direction may just turn out to
be a spectacular portrait.
