Capturing The Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony is undoubtedly the most important element of any wedding. The reciting of vows, exchange of rings, and in many instances affirmation of commitment in a religious setting make the wedding ceremony a high point for a couple.

In order to ensure that as many meaningful moments as possible are captured by your photographers, do take note of the following :

  • Brief your photographers thoroughly on the sequence of events that will take place during the ceremony.

  • Inform them of areas that are accessible to them so that they can recce these locations prior to the ceremony.

  • Similarly, caution them about areas that are off-limits, particularly in a house of worship.

  • Identify a point-man for the photographers to query, if necessary.

  • Have your ushers inform your guests who wish to take photographs not to get in the way of the professionals. Do this in a courteous and diplomatic manner though.

When such attention to detail is taken into account, hopefully the photos will turn out as well as those featured here.
