Some
say that the details are what makes a gown standout.
In a sense, this is true, as embellishments such
as embroidery, handbeading or lace appliqué
do enhance the appearance of a wedding gown. This
is not to say that simple, fuss-free gowns are
not equally as beautiful, as indeed, beauty does
lie in the eyes of the beholder. However, design-driven
and well-crafted adornments do add a touch of
sophistication and elegance. And most often than
not, it is the independently-run designer bridal
boutiques who will be able to deliver just the
right amount of ornamentation to up the class,
without being over-the-top.
