By customising their invitations, they are able to express their individuality, and possibly inject some of their own ideas into the design of the invite by working closely with the graphic designers involved.

Of course, the process of having invites custom-designed is one which will be a bit more protracted when compared to just selecting designs from a catalogue. One thought though - the greater the effort, the more spectacular the results!
